This role needs someone who is smart, attentive and skilled in management and financial accounting reporting, budgeting and cost analysis within the FMCG or related sectors.
With relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar, you will have a sound understanding of accounting principles and the ability to confidently analyse financial and operational information.
Professional verbal and written communication skills are essential, and you will need to develop strong working relationships with internal customers across departments, providing support and guidance regarding trending reports to GMO and departmental management. You must have excellent Excel, data management and Word skills. CPA or similar professional post graduate qualification is desirable, but not essential.
Experienced within the FMCG industry, you will be capable of successfully delivering various management reporting, financial analysis, and financial reporting responsibilities within specific timeframes. This will include duties such as profit and loss reports, fixed asset register and end of year accounting and audit reports, as well as oversee site accounts compliance, review daily production and working capital performance, and analyse and report on plant performances, including:
- Operations Balanced Scorecard
- Beef and offal yield analysis and trends
- Return on investment analysis for Plant capital projects;
- New product and alternative scenario costing analysis.
- Perform other duties as directed by Corporate Finance and GMO.
