Tempe Tyres is fast becoming Australia's leading tyre and wheel wholesaler. This is in addition to having one of the largest single tyre and wheel retail shops in Australia.

Due to continued growth in our company, we are seeking a Junior Credit Control Officer to join our Accounts Receivable team. This position is permanent part time and may lead to a full time role in the near future.

Your new role

The Junior Credit Control Officer will be responsible for the collections and ongoing management of the debtor’s portfolio.

Responsibilities of the Junior Credit Control Officer  include but not limited to:

• Active day to day management and control of the debtors ledger
• Contacting Debtors for payment of accounts overdue, raising credit notes and email follow up in line with our policies, procedures and credit terms.
• Reviewing, report and manage “Blocked Accounts”
• Managing high risk debtors
• Dealing with day to day issues that arise
• Creating New Accounts, processing credit applications and ensuring all records/paperwork are updated and filed
• Follow up on disputed accounts

You must have the following knowledge and/or skills:

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years credit control experience.
• Fluent English both verbal and written
• Excellent telephone skills and ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Accurate computer and data entry skills
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated team member
