Our growing finance team is currently seeking a proactive, experienced Accounts Payable professional. To be successful in this role you will be passionate about internal/external customer engagement, system savy, resilient and have a high level of attention to detail. This will be a fast paced, reactive role and you will be required to think on your feet and enjoy daily challenges of a growing global complex company.

In this role you will be responsible for handling (independently or with minimum supervision) all aspects of Accounts Payable via Movex (M3) and you will be responsible for checking, processing, booking supplier invoices and prompt urgent payments.

This role would suit an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys process improvement implementation. Bring your skills and ability to prioritise tasks quickly to align the current business requirements.

Your responsibilities will be , but not limited to;

  • Enter new and maintain all suppliers in the ERP system.
  • Sort all mail for AP (Sort invoices, statements etc.).
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders.
  • Check & process all invoices from depots in Australia and NZ Pacific into Basware and Kofax ready for payment.
  • Run payments for all invoices.
  • Process overseas payments via Corp-Online and update.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • EFT weekly payments.
  • Drawing of manual cheques and setting up and payment of manual Electronic fund transfers (Efts).
  • Employee expenses reconciliation and payments.
  • Enter all manual payments through Movex including manual cheques, Efts and imprest/petty cash payments.
  • Printing of daily bank statements and payment details from Corporate On-Line.
  • Cashbook (daily) – record all payments for Aggreko Australia and NZ Pacific in cashbook from statement, including all manual cheques, Eft’s etc.
  • Weekly cash flow estimates for what is expected to be paid from AP entered into cash flow reports.
  • Month end reports and Creditors Reconciliation at each month end.
  • Respond to email enquiries from depots, project site and suppliers.
  • Record AP issues and act on solutions.
  • Update and maintain AP section of Depot Procedure Manual.
  • Other duties as directed.

To be successful we require the following qualifications & skills:

  • Minimum 5 year experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Movex, Basware or similar ERP system experience is desirable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-driven.
  • Good people interaction skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.
  • An understanding of basic accounting.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Applications skills, particularly Excel
