Our Opportunity
Veris currently has an exciting and rare opportunity for a tenacious and accuracy driven individual who will join our Shared Services Team managing all facilities and equipment used across our business nationally.
Reporting to the Head of Finance the purpose of this role is to be responsible for providing the company with data and analysis by monitoring equipment utilisation, providing optimisation of cost associated with all Veris facilities including all surveying equipment and the Veris motor vehicle fleet.

This role will not only assist in the development and execution of existing systems and processes but also supply provision of data and analysis in relation to Veris fixed assets to balance capital deployed and margin for decision making purposes by the executive group.

Other responsibilities of this role will include:
  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive asset register
  • Negotiate supply contracts and lease agreements, work with management in discussing, reviewing & developing proposals
  • Work with the wider business to identify and maximise utilisation and cost synergies across the national business
  • Assist with preparation and monitoring of regional and business unit budgets
  • Regular reporting of the status and cost of assets to ensure the business is well positioned to make informed decisions
  • Ensure internal controls and management information systems are in place, relevant and effective as pertained to facilities and equipment.


Our Requirements
The successful applicant will have significant experience with facility and equipment management within a large corporation. They will have the ability to be able to support a variety of stakeholders with commercial decisions.

Other experience required to perform this role will need to be:

  • Proven experience within similar role either as an Asset Manager or Fleet Manager
  • Demonstrated ability in creating and implementing strategic operational plans
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and sound knowledge of contracts management
  • Experience in leading Change Management initiatives
  • Highly developed relationship management skills resulting in ability to actively engage internal and external stakeholders, have high level of integrity, empathy and strong work ethic.
