Working alongside the Principal and Senior Accountant you will be required to assist in the day to day accounting and taxation matters of their clients, this includes working with an outsourcing firm
Your role will include but not limited to
- Preparation of tax returns and financials for a variety of entities
- Assist with the management of tax lodgements
- Assist in the management of outsourced client work
- Attending to client presentations and meetings as required
- Prepare BAS's, review PAYGI statements, prepare estimated tax schedules etc.,
- Monitor workflow on a daily basis to ensure tax job turn around times are met and clients are kept informed on progress
- Assist in the provision of tax and accounting advice to a porfolio of clients across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane region.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years Australian Tax and Accounting experience, and be degree qualified. You will have experience in assisting with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, SMSF, partnerships and sole traders under the supervion of a manager.
You will need to have great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills along with an analytical mindset and be excited to build your career in Tax.
