Finance Assistant

If you are currently working within a finance department within a law firm and you have been relishing responsibility, projects and a wide variety of legal financial accounting work, then this could be a fantastic role for you. 

The firm being well established and one of the more larger statewide law firms, provide their employees with an open door policy, a collaborative environment and well designed offices to suit all needs. 

The role will assist the firm state-wide to meet the financial accounting needs of the firm to include a wide variety of accounting tasks some of which will include assisting the financial manager with reporting, financial firm projects, reconciliation, ledger accounting, pay roll and much much more. 

This role will be perfect for you if you want to really get stuck in and help with a variety of work. You could day that this role will fit a bunch of hats, as you will be required to put on multiple 'hats' and assume more than just one role. 

This role requires legal finance team experience as a necessity. If you do not hold legal financial experience within a law firm, in house legal team or barristers chambers then this role may not be suitable for you. 

You will be favoured if you have a finance type degree and or if you hold more than 2 years of legal financial experience. If you are working towards a relevant accounting qualification and also have the above experience, then you will also be at an advantage.
