Role:
The Tax Advisor will work as part of a team of tax professionals to provide pro-active and commercially focused tax advice to the business and local tax teams. The Advisor will be expected to work autonomously and in support of the other members of the team with emphasis on advising the upstream businesses as well as assisting with Procurement advice. Undertaking of quarterly reporting will be required.
Experience:
• At least 2-3 years proven experience in a corporate tax accounting tax role with compliance exposure to direct and indirect taxes
• Reconciliation between lodged tax and tax provision
• Corporate Tax Accountant background
• Exposure in Indirect Tax will be ideal but not essential
• Someone with experience using Para tax software will be highly regarded but training will be provided
• Data Analyst / Business Analyst back ground will a bonus but not essential
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to engage with extended offshore team and actively assist in developing skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multi task is essential
