We are a well-known and reputable CPA firm located in the CBD of the Gold Coast for over 50 years.  We offer clients comprehensive accounting services such as, Business and Strategic Advice, Taxation Compliance, Taxation Management, Management Accounting, Superannuation and Audit Services.   Due to recent growth we are now seeking to expand our team and have two positions available.

ASSISTANT TAX MANAGER

This position will have you providing guidance, support and mentoring to a team of friendly, motivated and skilled professionals. This role is hands-on and will have you catering for a group of high net wealth clients and businesses along with management across the team. Having experience in a similar role previously or wanting to take the next step in your career from a Senior Accountant is what we are seeking.  The key to your success for this position will be your ability to take on those “hard to do jobs” and enjoy a challenge with work variety.

Skills, Experience and Attributes required:

  • CPA or CA qualified
  • 6 + years’ Australian experience
  • Experience with high net worth clients – Individual and Business
  • Knowledge of Handisoft and Xero
  • Superannuation (BGL) experience is advantageous
  • Outstanding technical skills
  • Confident and proven management and workflow skills
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Team player with strong leadership qualities
  • Direct client contact
