Accounts Payable Officer required for an exciting & growing SME business in South Sydney.

Your new company
The company is a well known and widely respected specialising logistics and freight forwarding. The welcoming and friendly team are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounts Payable Officer to assist during a period of growth with a view to securing the successful candidate on a permanent basis in future.


Your new role
Reporting to the AP Supervisor, you will be part of a small team of Accounts Payable Officers and will be responsible for your own ledger. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• End-to-end Accounts Payable
• High volume processing
• Assist Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Assist Month end journals and accruals
• Manage queries with internal and external stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a high volume AP role and ideally industry experience within Logistics, Construction or other heavy industry.
You will be driven to succeed, and be able to work in a timely manner with accuracy.
Ideally you will have experience with SAP or a similar large accounting system as well as advanced Excel skills.
