The Company
My client operating in the Property and Construction industry is looking to bring an experienced Accounts Payable Officer onboard due to substantial growth within the business. This role will require an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to focus on a high volume of supplier invoices, as well as assisting with the JobPac implementation.
The Position
This is a full function Accounts Payable Officer position reporting to the Senior Administration Officer. The duties will include the below:
- Processing a high volume of invoices into JobPac;
- Matching supplier invoices to Purchase Orders;
- Obtain authorisation for payment in accordance with standard procedures;
- Reconciliation of Supplier Statements and following up supplier queries;
- Processing monthly EFT payment runs;
- Continuing regular contact with internal stakeholders and suppliers;
- Answering supplier queries; and
- Manage the Finance email inbox.
The Person
To be successful for this role you must be able to display the following:
- At least three - five years’ experience in a full function accounts payable role;
- Extensive experience using or implementing JobPac;
- Have worked in the Property and Construction industry;
- Strong attention to detail is essential;
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills;
- Must display professionalism in presentation and demeanour; and
- Able to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
