An exciting and new opportunity for an Assistant Tax Manager or Senior has arisen with a reputable international name. This employer will offer you countless opportunities to develop your skills along with unrivalled growth potential.
Having the close mentorship and direct communication with the tax partners, you will be conducting analysis, research and written advice in relation to a wide range of Australian tax matters and various other issues raised by clients. This includes trusts, capital gains tax, thin capitalisation and the debt/equity rules. Moreover, you will be required to delegate and review compliance work of junior staff, conduct training and risk assessments whilst corresponding with the ATO and other relevant external parties.
The ideal candidate for this role:
• 4+ years experience in a similar role
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• CA qualified and/or Master of Tax
• Demonstrated communication, management and rapport building skills
