The Company
A fantastic opportunity to work within a leading international retail organisation. Due to an internal promotion they need to employ a qualified Financial Reporting Accountant to work within the CBD Office. The role has a specific focus on financial reporting and complex reconciliations and offers broader progression opportunities for high performers. Individuals coming from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm with a high attention to detail and experience working with financial reports are encouraged to apply.

The Role
The role will initially report through to the Financial Reporting Manager but will also frequently liaise with the Group Financial Controller. The responsibilities include:

• Prepare accurate, consistent and timely internal management and performance reporting
• Understand the budget process and assist with preparation of budgets
• Consolidate forecast P&L submissions, identifying through analysis key trends and business insight
• Support the preparation of regular forecasting and budget documents for presentation to the International and Group boards 
• Assist with preparation the quarterly business review
• Assist with preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Prepare year-end and interim results processes together with the Group Financial Accounting team
• Support ad hoc financial reporting projects, such as standardised reporting, faster month end close process, reporting system implementations, reporting integration of an acquisition etc

About You

• You will be CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
• Previous experience working in a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm is beneficial to the applicant
• Strong understanding of statutory & financial reports
