As we continue to grow a position has become available in our Finance Team for an Accounts Payable Officer on a part time basis. The role is available immediately.
This role will be working 2 days per week, with the days open to negotiation.
About the job
Reporting to the Financial Controller and providing support to our existing finance team, this role will see you conducting the following duties:
- for the preparation and allocation of costs to the correct G/L accounts
- assist with the weekly A/P run
- Preparing weekly payment runs with supporting documentation for approval
- Investigating all invoice claims and discrepancies
- Follow through on all accounts payable related queries with internal and external stakeholders
About you
Working within a well-established finance team you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous accounts payable and general clerical experience
- Fast and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent computer skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Experience using Net Suite accounting system would be advantageous
