In this broad and varied position you will manage a small team and support the Financial Controller and CFO with the Corporate Accounting and Tax functions of this growing property business.

Description
- Assist with all statutory/compliance/reporting requirements for the business in conjunction with our statutory accounting advisors
- Lead and manage the AR, Trust Accounting and AP team to ensure each staff member is developing/building their skills/knowledge/capability and contributing to delivery of business results
- Assist with delivering effective tax strategy for the business in conjunction with our tax advisors
- Assist with the management of complex tax arrangements relating to offshore transactions
- Control accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with securing new funding from time to time as required
- Assist with and/or drive specific continuous improvement initiatives to improve effectiveness of finance function
- Liaise with internal/external auditors as required
Profile
- CA qualified with Big4 experience
- Degree in Finance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word
- Use of a database such as Hyperion, Timberline, TM1, etc
- Desirable - Yardi
- Ability to influence effectively
