A top 100 CA firm is seeking an SMSF Accoutant to join their team. Due to the growth in fees and funds in the past 6 months, an experienced individual is required for a team that handles 200+ complex funds.
The role will be predominantly the administration, compliance and review of SMSFs, and the opportunity to provide advice on the initial set-up and wind-up of funds; mandated and non-mandated contributions; claims for deductions; exemptions and all conditions that satisfy adherence to complying standards for accumulated and pension funds. Furthermore, you will also be required to do some processing including the preparation of tax reconciliations, statements and returns.
Ideally a candidate with:
• Approximately 1-3 years experience in SMSF
• Proficient with BGL or ClassSuper software, ideal
• CA studying
• Excellent interpersonal abilities – due to the client facing nature of the role
