EGM has been partnering with our client recently on several roles as they position themselves for significant national growth.

An opportunity for an impressive Commercial Manager with a global market-leader, geared for growth in a dynamic environment.

Our Client is a global wholesaler with a great reputation for excellence. They have a loyal customer base in Australia built upon years of excellence in product delivery and customer satisfaction. As the business gears for growth this new position has been created to achieve the sales, retention, Customer Satisfaction (CS) and profit objectives for their Aftersales Department.

About the Role:

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the planning, analysis, program development, marketing development (in conjunction with marketing dept.), management reporting, standards, benchmarking, price and margin optimisation & affiliate program management.

 

Key duties:

  • Understand, incorporate and make recommendations to improving the performance of the department
  • Preparation of financial plans, including sales forecasts, margin plans, operating budgets, parts purchase plans, and inventory forecasts.
  • Analysis and reporting on performance versus plan.
  • Understand, incorporate and make recommendations in respect of the company's longer term corporate strategy which should be reflected in the AS Sales Marketing plan.
  • Manage and fully leverage P&A affiliate programs to maximise value across the organisation
  • Lead the streamlining of internal processes and procedures to identify department efficiencies.

 

About you:

You will have strong analytical skills and ideally experience working in a large corporate environment with strong interpersonal skills. This is a true business partnering role which will require you to analyse and interpret large amounts of data and present to board members.

Ideally you will have an accounting qualification such as CPA/CA/CIMA/ACCA and be looking for a role where you can combine your love of numbers and analysis with delivering real commercial outcomes.
