We are a well-respected Australian boutique fund manager listed on ASX.
We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our busy accounting team:
Working within a small team setting, your key duties will include (but may not be limited to):
- Assist in maintaining overall accuracy of General ledgers;
- Accurately processing bank, accounts receivable, accounts payable transactions;
- Assist with month-end work process, accruals and prepayments;
- Management of company credit cards including coding transactions into general ledger;
- Assist the team to meet the company reporting and accounting deadlines;
- Assist with any monthly payroll calculations
- Management reporting of key business metrics; and
- Filing and records management;
Must Have's:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance;
- Working towards completing CA/CPA;
- At least 1-2 years’ work experience in Financial & Management Accounting;
- Sound understanding of accounting processes;
- Intermediate MYOB and sound Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Positive attitude and enjoy being hands on; and
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently, and within deadlines.
