Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for financial accounting, management reporting and tax reporting for a portfolio of entities. This includes maintaining the general ledger, timely month end closing and adherence to tight reporting timeframes, balance sheet reconciliations, detailed variance analysis, handling of all tax matters including preparation of quarterly and annual tax calculations, quarterly and annual distribution calculations, preparation of GST schedules and reports for lodgment with the relevant tax authority, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow monitoring, preparation of financial statements, provide assistance with management of the audit process and responding to audit queries, managing stakeholder relationships across the business and ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time. In addition, you will be responsible for the review of property financial reports provided by the external property manager, highlighting, addressing and resolving issues that arise from the review.
Job Requirements
You should be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2 years' post qualification experience. To succeed in this role, you should have a sound understanding of AIFRS and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. You should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with local and international teams as well as internal and external stakeholders. Candidates with prior SAP and/or property industry experience will have an added advantage.
