Our client is a privately-owned steel distribution and processing company operating on the eastern seaboard of Australia and New Zealand. The company specialises in steel distribution and processing of steel coil, plate and long products.
The Person
To be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Intermediate/ advance Excel skills
- Meeting deadlines
- Confident in collections
- Exceptional relationship building skills
The Role
Reporting to the NZ Credit Manager your responsibilities will include end to end Accounts Receivable but not limited to:
- Ensuring outstanding overdue debt/payments are paid in timely manner
- Able to manage High Volume ledgers and over 1200 active customers
- Maintenance of accounts, invoices and manage statements
- Account reconciliations
- Receipting and allocation of customer payments
- Request & maintain insurance cover for debtors
- Resolve discrepancies
