The role available is an ongoing temporary Accounts Officer position that is offering a competitive salary and a fun workplace culture in Fitzroy. The ideal candidate will be immediately available to start and will have previous payroll and transactional finance experience.
Client Details
This company is a perishable goods distributor located in Fitzroy Melbourne. The organisation has a great corporate culture which places a particular focus on environmental sustainability and social responsibility. Currently they are looking for an immediately available Accounts Officer to work 4 or 5 days a week.
Description
Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:
- End to end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Maintain files and documentation in accordance with the companies accounting practices and current policy
- Conducting payroll for approximately 15-20 employees
- Handling supplier queries and month end reporting
- Managing creditor relationships
- Reconciliation of all company credit cards
Profile
The successful candidate must have the following experience:
- 2 years previous experience in an accounts officer or bookkeeper role
- Previous experience using Xero is preferable
- Previous experience conducting fortnightly or monthly payroll
- Clear communication skills
- Is comfortable working in a team
