Our client is a global market leader providing a superior service in an ever growing industry sector.

Position
As the Payroll Speicialist, you will be the go-to person for all payroll queries and will take the lead in the end to-end payroll function the weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll for 1500+ employees across 4 companies. You must be able to keep up to date with all legislation pertaining to payroll including EBAs, awards, minimum wage, superannuation to ensure payroll remains compliant. Calculate and process termination payments, redundancy and salary packaging. Produce end-of-month payroll reporting including GL reconciliation. Manage legislative and statutory requirements including superannuation, lodgement of payroll tax and workers compensation payments. Maintain employee records including processing of new hires, change requests and terminations

Profile
The ideal candidate must have hands on experience working in a high volume
payroll environment (1000+ employees) using an Outsource provider. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to interpret awards and agreements and understanding current legislation and obligations. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
