The AP Officer will ensure that the processing and payment of accounts is performed in an efficient and accurate manner.  Working withing a close-knit team, you will take pride in your work and the business critical nature of the AP Department.

Core Responsibilities: 

• Performing Supplier Statement Reconciliations;
• Responding to inquiries in a timely manner;
• Scanning of invoices, cheques, EFT payments and relevant supporting documentation into the system;
• Managing archives and records;
• Investigating and resolving disputes related to invoicing issues;
• Effectively communicating with suppliers on a regular basis;
• Maintaining accurate supplier records within the system;
• Supporting fellow team members, as required. 
   

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume AP environment;
• Sound technical knowledge of Accounts Payable;
• Strong time-management skills
• High attention to detail
• A commitment to streamlining processes and a continuous improvement mindset; and
• Strong communication and rapport building capability, as you will be liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
