Accounts Receivable Officer required for a Retail Design company in the CBD

Your new company

Vibrant office, working within a small, close-knit team. You will work alongside four people within the Finance Team, taking sole responsibility for Accounts Receivable full function duties. This company is well established and they are looking for a candidate who would like a long term position. Opportunities for progression will be available in the future as the company is growing.

Our client are flexible on contract requirements: temporary to permanent or straight permanent for someone with relevant industry experience


Your new role

• Daily allocations of payments by Eft’s and cheques.
• Phone collections and answering customers queries in regard to their accounts.
• Reporting weekly cash flow and forecasts to Management Accountant.
• Allocating daily direct deposits and cheques.
• Banking
• Daily bank reconciliations and issuing refunds back to wholesale accounts for over payments.
• Liaising with internal staff to resolve account issues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Flexible approach to the workplace
• Previous AR full function experience
• Ability to communicate with suppliers, wholesalers and customers alike
• Updating internal teams
• Working across high volume payments
