To deliver a best in class credit & collection management process and debt mitigation which is efficient, scalable and supports business growth and value.

Responsibilities: 

• Provide support and direction to off shore collections team
• Oversight of End to end credit activities for power and gas supplier
• Create strategies to meet collection and write-off targets
• Thorough understanding of the Payment Difficulties Framework
• Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement in practices
• Develop working relationships within the business to facilitate the accurate and timely flow of information and supporting analysis
• Produce regular reports (weekly/ monthly/ as required) based on debt age and status category
• Analyse credit risk and manage appropriate mitigation response 

 The ideal candidate: 

Exceptional communication, negotiation & relationship building skills, as well as:

• Highly motivated professional and resilient
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks according to priority
• 2-3 years demonstrated experience working in a large organisation preferably in consumer energy managing high value and business collections and debt management activities 
• Good working knowledge of key credit risk policy and debt provision principles
• Timely management of active and final account transactions to closure or further debt collection activity / referrals / legal action where required
