Description
The Financial Accountant will be reporting to the Finance Manager and also provide financial analysis support to the finance team by processing month end journals and assisting in internal/external audits.
Other key responsibilities in this position will include;
- Preparation of the annual budgeting and forecasting, in consultation with the local management team.
- Providing financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs.
- Ensure that all bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks have been completed.
- Prepare monthly reports, cash flow, business projections within the corporate guidelines.
- Prepare audited EOFY accounts, journals, and reconciliations for the external accountant.
- Coordination of the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting systems.
- Preparation of the Business Activity Statement
Profile
To be successful in this role you will need to prove skills and abilities in line with below:
- CA / CPA qualified
- SAP experience
- 5 years’ experience in similar position
- Good multi-tasking and organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in daily work
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills as you will be networking internationally
- Ability to work under pressure with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
