The Company
Our client is well known in the construction industry and are based south of the river. Due to annual leave, an immediate start is required for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a 3-month assignment, which can extend an extra month. Being based SOR, it is not easily accessible by public transport, however the location does offer onsite parking. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Accounts Payable officer looking to broaden their industry experience.
The Role
As the Accounts Payable officer you will report directly to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and work in a team of 2 to assist with the following;
- Processing up to 1000 invoices per week to PO’s
- Seeking approvals from managers across Western Australia
- Fortnightly and monthly payment run preparation
- Monthly statement reconciliations
Your Profile
The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment and will have an excellent attention to detail and accuracy. It is essential that you are highly driven and passionate about Accounts Payable and looking to commit to this role permanently.
Large ERP knowledge is essential, as is being immediately available.
