You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to the Secret Sounds group of companies, including processing and reconciliation of supplier data and travelling to locations around Australia to support the group’s music festivals when required.

key responsibilities and duties:

• Receiving and filing of all invoices
• Coding of Invoices with assistance from Finance Managers and Assistant Accountant
• Processing all invoices in MYOB
• Ensuring all supplier card details are accurate and up to date
• Ensure accurate GST coding and ABN withholding obligations are met
• Propose supplier payments from MYOB for approval
• Prepare all payment files in banking system for approval
• Liaising with banking approvers to ensure availability for any payment runs
• Receive and respond to all supplier queries within agreed timelines
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve missing invoices
• Enter expenses into MYOB to ensure payment in line with payment run cut-off
• Attend Festivals operated by the group to provide assistance with cash management
• Process payroll and superannuation for casual festival staff
• Liaise with local bank branch to draw cash for floats
• Work with Group Reporting Manager to implement system and process improvements
• Undertake special projects as delegated by the Group Reporting Manager

skills and experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role;
• High level computer literacy –proficiency across Outlook, Word, Excel, MYOB an advantage;
• Ability to communicate effectively in a manner consistent with the culture, across all levels;
• Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise;
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, sensitive to relationships and situations;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Demonstrated true passion for music.
