This newly created role will bolster and define your career as you take the step away from processing your pay. Our client is looking for a Payroll professional who is looking to develop and grow within a team based SAP systems environment. This full time role reports directly to the National Finance Systems Manager and liaises with the Group HR functions countrywide. You will work within a cohesive friendly, customer focused division whose common goal is supporting and process improving the payroll space to drive best practice. The role is primarily responsible for the maintenance and support of the Payroll Systems as well as ensuring service excellence delivery to all Payroll System users across the Financial Shared Services team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitor and action requests from the Payroll Systems applications (RosterOn and SAP)
    Support Help Desks and provide end user support
  • First point of contact for level one issues for all Payroll Systems and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure on-going, co-operative and effective communication of Payroll Systems level 2 issues between all functional users and application service providers
  • Act as the functional assistant on the implementation, maintenance and administration of the Payroll systems
  • Participate directly in all systems testing, including creating test scripts, assisting in the identification and analysis of technical gaps and support the completion of all functional based project deliverable
  • Assist in the documentation of business procedures and help deliver end user training
  • Develop and maintain reports on statistical information relating to Payroll Systems and the Payroll Systems Support Help Desk
  • Provide consistent and accurate reporting from Payroll Systems databases and applications for various Payroll Systems and Shared Services customers
  • Provide general IT support to the Remuneration Services Group as directed

ey Requirements:

  • 2-3 years minimum demonstrated payroll systems experience using SAP
  • Proven customer engagement qualities and be ability troubleshoot and support team members
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and as a part of a team
  • Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
