Role Overview / Description
Reporting to the Assistant Financial Controller, this Finance Analyst will take the lead with all aspects of commission reporting and be the subject matter expert for the area. Your initial day-to-day responsibilities will include developing systems and processes in order to provide clear visibility to the business on agency commission accruals - this will bridge the gap between sales and finance. In addition as the Finance Analyst, you will own the commissions payable budgeting and forecasting processes.
This organisation will provide the successful Finance Analyst a strong training ground for development and fast tracked career growth with a commercial lens.
The Job/ Duties / Responsibilities
• Create processes and develop systems in order to allow clear visibility of commission accruals to the business
• Identify and improve gaps in the current processes
• Run budgeting and forecasting process for commissions owing
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and provide education on new processes and policies
• Present improvements and business cases to senior leadership
Candidate Profile
You are CA or CPA qualified with extensive experience around building finance processes and have a passion for business reporting and analysis. Ideally, you have commenced your career with a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm and are looking to expand on your commercial experience with a leading listed global organisation. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your strengths and you feel confident presenting your ideas to senior leadership.
