Supporting small-mid sized projects, you will manage the day to day, monthly and end-to-end financials of projects. You will be providing financial support and insights to aid decision making over the project lifecycle.
You will be tasked with seeking out improvements in financial control. One of the key challenges will be managing risk issues on the project and raising appropriately.
Additionally, Partnering with the PMO function and providing this regulator update and consistency to dive deep into the insights but also identify risks ahead of time.
The role will also be highly commercial and will support enhance financial modelling for project business cases.
You will join an evolving and progressive culture in the Australian Banking market as well as join the largest project portfolio.
For the right person who can manage multiple demands across multiple projects the role offers the full breadth of responsibilities. The successful Finance Projects Business Partner will possess the following skills and experience:-
- At least 5 + years post qualified experience in an Accounting /Finance function within Financial Services
- Prior Project Finance experience, can understand priorities for projects
- Possess strong financial modelling skills using Excel including Vlookups, Pivot tables
- Superior relationship management and business partnering capability
- Capable of working in a fast paced, ever changing environment
- Must demonstrate strong technical Accounting knowledge and be a Qualified Accountant (CA / CPA or equivalent)
