We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Officer to join an opportunistic start-up company, which offers both operational training and sales in the cosmetic industry. This opportunity also offers the benefit of being conveniently located close to the Melbourne CBD with free on-site parking available to all employees.
Client Details
Our client is one that offers a range of services with the cosmetic environment. Looking after the needs of every type of customer and offering training in order to become a professional within the industry too. Their cliental has the potential to expand rapidly over the next 12 months due to ventures overseas and the potential market there. This position is one that will have you working as an Accounts Receivable & Sales Representative at their Melbourne location, where the work-place is very tight knit.
Description
Reporting directly to the Financial Accountant, your role will include but will not be limited to:
- End to end accounts receivable
- Daily reconciliation of all relevant accounts
- Recovery of outstanding client debts
- Perform month end closing and reporting tasks
- Acting as a back-up to the sales team
- Processing sales orders when required
- Additional administration work to process new clients
Profile
The successful applicant would ideally have previous experience in a similar full-function Accounts Receivable role. You will need to display excellent communication skills and have a proven ability and willingness to multi-task between accounts and sales duties. Professional phone manner is crucially important at all times when dealing with new and existing clients. A passion for the cosmetic and hair care industry would be considered highly advantageous. An exposure to a large ERP system would also be preferred.
