Your New Company
Our client is a well-known privately owned building industry manufacturing company in Victoria and has been operating for over 33 years. Located in Melbourne's South East, they are a market leader in their industry with a strong tier-1 base of material builders as clients.
Your New Role
This is a very hands-on role for a senior financial controller with two other part-time staff assisting you.
The role involves the following functions for 2 group entities, with approximate turnover of $25 and $4-million respectively.
- Invoicing
- BAS - statutory reporting monthly
- Treasury- NAB Connect payments
- Annual Reconciliations
- Cashflow
- Bank Reconciliations
- Asset Management
- Receivables
In addition, the role involves some basic reporting and asset management of the Director’s private companies and liaisons with the companies’ external accountant.
Please be aware that this is a very hands-on role reporting to the Managing Director. It is a fast-paced industry and needs a person able to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work.
