WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are now seeking a Commercial & Operations Finance Manager to support and lead the finance business partners in areas of financial, analytical and planning process’ with a focus on driving business performance. Leading the commercial accounting team and managing responsibilities in setting objectives, reviewing results and providing support will be a large responsibility. You will be able to coordinate the corporate timetable to provide support to state operations teams and consolidate state forecasts and results to senior management. Preparing weekly and monthly reports is important to provide analysis and further understand trends and opportunities.
This role is also responsible in planning and budgeting for P&L lines in the retail network and providing commentary of movements between forecasts. Work with key stakeholders across the business to ensure communication to budget holders and buy-in of forecasts and plans. You will coordinate the investment appraisal process with the commercial finance team to ensure business cases are reviewed. You will also ensure planned ROI is achieved by monitoring investments and prepare corporate real estate requests.
To be successful in this role you will have a qualification in Business or Commerce and proficiency in SAP and Business Objects. It is essential to have advanced knowledge in Excel with an understanding of Word and PowerPoint. Effective communication and the ability to support the team in giving guidance would assist in delivering across this role. You will be a collaborative manager in liaising in all aspects of the business.
