The Opportunity

Join this progressive, mid-tier accounting and financial services firm and become a part of their bookkeeping division, managing their clients' accounts needs. A large and busy firm, in beautiful modern offices, now require an experienced Bookkeeper with Xero knowledge to hit the ground running in a newly created position. Based within walking distance to the train and carparks– this is a great opportunity to progress your career. Part-time hours, ideally school hours, but flexible!

Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking a professional and experienced bookkeeper with working knowledge of MYOB and Xero to assist with varying client bookkeeping needs such as;

• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll and superannuation
• Accounts reconciliation
• Bank reconciliations
• Journal preparation
• Chasing outstanding monies
• BAS preparation

Requisite Skills & Experience

Previous experience within a similar role in a similar role is necessary (minimum 2 years' experience), and a good grasp of MYOB and Xero. You will also need to be experienced assisting multiple clients and entities with their bookkeeping requirements.  There is the possibility to gain tax exposure and work in this role if desired too!
  
Good communications skills and presentation are essential as this is a role involving client contact.
  
Any relevant qualifications would be highly regarded.
