Accounts payable position based in Kwinana Beach! This would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced accounts payable officer living in the local area to gain valuable experience in a complex environment.

Client Details

Located in Kwinana Beach, my client is an established industrial/construction business with multiple entities including overseas companies. They offer an excellent working environment in their modern, recently completed offices.

Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

• High volume Accounts Payable processing using Xero
• Matching with purchase orders where possible, otherwise seeking manual approvals from relevant stakeholders.
• Processing invoices in foreign currencies as required.
• Payment runs including uploading bank files.
• Monthly supplier and bank accounts reconciliations.
• Inter-company transfers.
• Monitoring the inbound phone line as required.
• Any other general administration duties as required.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least two years Accounts Payable experience. Additionally:

• Excellent communication skills - must be able to represent the company on the phone.
• A small business mentality and be happy to complete any general admin duties around the office.
• Excellent reconciliation skills.
• Xero experience would be highly regarded.

Job Offer

On offer is a 5 week temporary assignment to cover scheduled annual leave. The successful candidate must be available to start on 17th July and must be available through till the end of August!
