Due to an ever-growing need for processes to be streamlined and finances to be in check, we are on the lookout for an experienced Bookkeeper or Accountant to join the team as they go through an exciting period of growth.

This role will see you join a close knit, passionate and driven team who truly value their product, service and clients. Your role will offer you variety, autonomy and flexibility as you take responsibility for all things financial, as well as logistics, freight and customer service. Although this business is small, they are growing and they need someone who can grow with them.

The role
  • Coordinate and oversee accounting functions such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Payroll, Inventory and Banking
  • Technical duties include statutory reporting, cashflow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, BAS and month end reporting
  • Assisting with incoming enquiries surrounding customer service, sales, technical support and stock ordering
  • Play a key role in driving process improvements across not only the Accounting and Finance functions but also the day to day office
Key requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a full function Bookkeeping or Management Accounting role
  • The ability to work autonomously, have a great sense of initiative and be a self-starter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to prioritise and work in a changing environment
  • Previous experience working with Xero or Simpro will be highly advantageous
  • Candidates who have worked within a small business or within freight, logistics, FMCG or manufacturing are encouraged to apply
