The Firm

This firm provides the full service to clients, encompassing Accounting, Taxation, SMSF, Audit and Financial Planning under the 1 roof. This full package service has resulted in long-term client relationships and staff satisfaction, with most employees working through the ranks, with tenure upwards of 5 years.

 

The Role

Working alongside one of the partners, you will be responsible for all of the review and management of junior staff members’ workflow, and some training while maintaining your own client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • A high level of client contact
  • Review work compliance
  • Managing your own client base
  • Compliance and Business Advisory work for SME’s, consolidated groups and high net wealth individuals.
  • Preparation of Tax Returns & Financial Statements for all entity types, including Self-Managed Super Funds
  • Financial Reporting
  • Preparation of Cashflow forecasting, budgets & Monthly Management Reports
  • Build and grow strong client relationships
  • Research – tax and business advisory
  • Liaise with clients and other stakeholders
  • Mentor junior staff, and encourage growth and career success

 

The Individual

The following requirements are necessary in order to be considered:

  • 10+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • High level of SMSF experience
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Experience using MYOB AE & BGL 360 advantageous
  • Previous role involving the management of staff
