We are currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Corporate Finance Team on a full time basis. The role will report to the Group Accountant and will be located at our head office in Applecross.
The Responsibilities:
- Monthly BAS preparation and consolidation
- Direct and indirect tax consolidation and reporting
- Intercompany transaction reconciliations
- Analysis of actual against budget expenditure
- Fixed Asset accounting
- Assistance with month end processing
- Assistance with half year and year-end financial audits
- Preparation and consolidation of Group cash flows
- Accounts Receivable invoicing
- Bank and General Ledger reconciliations
- Day to day MRL Corporate Finance admin work and ad hoc projects.
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years post qualification experience in a similar role
- Direct and indirect tax experience
- Large ERP system experience (Pronto would be highly regarded)
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills
- A pro-active approach with the capability to adapt to changing priorities
- Intermediate Excel skills.
