We are seeking a Trust Administrator/Accounts Receivable Officer to work on a key client portfolio based in our office in Brisbane. We are looking for a proactive, team orientated candidate to provide a comprehensive accounts receivable and trust administration support for the allocated client portfolio. Reporting to the Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:
- Banking and Receipting on MRI Accounting system of all Cash and EFT payments made by Tenants in accordance with SLAs
- Investigating any unidentified tenant receipts received into bank
- Preparing and maintaining unallocated tenant receipts spreadsheet, send to internal lease administrators for review and advice of allocation
- Establishing and maintaining lease data on MRI Accounting System
- Generating monthly recurring tenant charges and rental tax invoices/statements
- Performing month end checks on financial data, investigating and resolving any AR related issues
- Assisting with audit of trust bank accounts in accordance with trust legislation
- Performing simple tenant reconciliations
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar trust accounting or accounts receivable role within a high volume corporate environment
- Analytical problem-solving as well as time management skills
- Competence in all Microsoft Office packages with strong excel capabilities
- A passion for innovation and identifying areas for business improvement
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders
- An ability to work as a part of a team, as well as independent
