Hillier's Advisors is a Chartered Accounting firm in Belmont. We have a young professional team of approximately 15 staff. We provide a wide range of services to small businesses, individuals and self-funded retirees.

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Accountant to join our team. We provide great ongoing career opportunities and offer a flexible working environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Personal Income Tax returns
  • Preparation of Business Activity Statements
  • Preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax returns for companies, trusts, sole traders and partnerships

Skills and experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • At least 12 months experience in an accounting environment is essential
  • Commencement in a Bachelor of Commerce or other relevant qualification
  • Previous experience using Xero would be desirable
  • Professional manner and good communication skills
  • Experience in working to deadlines and time management skills
