Assistant Accountant

About the role:
Reporting to the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Assist with annual budgets and forecasts
- Assist in preparation of statuary accounts and audit
- Assist and liaise with ATO, external accountants and auditors when required
- Reconciliation and payment of all creditors in an accurate and timely manner
- Preparation of weekly bank and credit card reconciliations including foreign currency accounts.
- Manage debtor’s ledger
- Ad hoc profit and loss reports
About you:
- You will be an ambitious, partly CA/CPA qualified with a can-do attitude and a desire to grow within an organisation.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Suite
- High level of attention to detail
- The ability to work individually and within a team
