This position reports to the General Manager Professional Conduct and has a close working relationship with the other professional conduct team members, including the Legal and Quality Assurance Business units.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertake and manage the timely investigation of complaints in accordance with the By-Laws, to ensure compliance with the Constitution, By-Laws, Code of Professional Conduct and applicable regulations
- Manage the administration of Disciplinary and Appeals Tribunals
- Provision of support and guidance for other members of the professional conduct team
- Prepare documents and reports that support all aspects of the complaints process within the regulatory framework
- Provide advice on enquiries relating to ethical issues affecting members
- Evaluate and improve services to all members and stakeholders
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the public practice sector and the issues that affect their work and their membership
- Maintain high level knowledge of the regulatory environment.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role you will have a tertiary qualification preferably Accounting/Business or Legal degree, with recent experience in a professional, corporate services or government environment working in an investigative regulatory/statutory capacity. You will need to demonstrate that you have:

- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- High level interpersonal and relationship development skills
- Empathetic approach to resolving issues and problem-solving
- Proactive, well organised and can manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Computer literate and adept in using MS Office suite
