A leading Financial services firm is currently hiring an Senior Accounts Payable Officer on a full time basis due to recent internal moves within the finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable and Receivable function. The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience within an Accounts Payable role and will have exceptional communication skills.
This is a key position providing full support and assistance on all financial matters that impact the day to day operations of the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
• Completing daily bank reconciliations
• Accounts Payable
• Invoice scanning, coding and routing
• Reconciliation of company credit cards
• Supplier statement reconciliation
• Responding to vendor queries
• Preparation of various journal entries
• Staff expenses
• Payment runs using local and international banks
• Liaising with non-financial staff and effectively handling any queries
Skills and Attributes:
• Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy and concentration
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for dealing with staff and issues at all levels
