About the Company
An opportunity currently exists with a high growth volume home builder on the Gold Coast specialising in investor housing in South East QLD and with exciting growth plans ahead. Part of a larger group this company has a strong financial backing and is a stable and reputable organisation.
About the Position
The position for Accounts Manager has the following responsibilities:
- Processing payment runs and summary reports using Databuild
- Processing and issuing progress claims
- Debt collection
- Payroll
- Bank reconciliations and reconciliation of accounts
- Managing superannuation funds and other employee records
- Dealing with discrepancies and enquiries with suppliers and subcontractors
- Other accounting and administration duties
- Working with Financial Controller and company Accountant
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will need to have
- Minimum 5 years accounts experience
- Databuild experience preferred
- Experience in the residential volume building industry advantageous
- Good accounting knowledge
- Diploma level qualifications highly regarded however not essential
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
