Detail information about job Finance Manager. Terms and conditions vacancy

  • Outer Eastern Suburbs Location
  • Rapidly growing Australian owned manufacturing company
  • Exciting phase as this business expands internationally
This Australian owned manufacturing business has developed a unique high value engineering product that is sold to large and small businesses in Australia and now through Europe and America. A sales office has recently opened in Europe, soon to be followed by an assembly plant, and this will then be replicated in the United States over the next 12 -  18 months. They are well financed and highly profitable.

With rapid growth in sales now occurring, and forecast to continue for years to come, embedding robust financial frameworks into the organisation is critical. Creating effective business systems requires managing many and varied projects at once. These include but are not limited to the implementation of policies and procedures, an ERP migration, the creation of accurate product costing reports, budgets, as well as new office set ups. This will be in addition to the day to day running of the P&L, financial reporting, payroll and ensuring all tax obligations are met. The role currently has a senior bookkeeper reporting into it.

You will be a qualified accountant who has gained hands on experience in a manufacturing business in an accounting capacity. Your experience will have seen you gain an appreciation of what a well run corporate accounting and ERP system can do. However you will have also worked for a smaller business, where you have been very hands on and had to personally build systems and processes without the resources normally found in larger organisations. Your written and verbal communication skills will be exemplary, and as part of the executive leadership team you must be able to advise and influence on commercial decisions.\

You will have ideally implemented an ERP system, or been intimately involved in the project, and you will consider your Excel skills to be at or close to expert level.
The environment you will find yourself in is contemporary, collegiate, and positive. People enjoy the flexibility of being able to work at home when required, where empathy and fairness blend well with being directly accountable for results. This is a highly dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. You will need to be comfortable juggling and changing direction at short notice, yet also not forgetting longer term objectives and projects.

This is an incredible opportunity to be part of an amazing journey for this organization working with a very highly regarded CEO to build and expand this business around the world.
