Apply your strong technical skills in this exciting career opportunity. In this firm with 70+ staff, you will be part of a busy and close team, based in the Belmont office. You will have regular contact with clients, as you assist in all aspects of preparing financial statements , tax returns, tax planing, budgeting and general consulting..
More specifically, duties will include:
- General client liaison
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for companies, partnerships and trusts
- Preparation of BAS,GST, FBT & IAS returns
- Bank account and GST reconciliations
- Assisting with preparation of taxation estimates
- Assisting with research into special taxation topics
- Liaising wtih the ATO on compliance obligations
- Many other ad hoc duties
To secure an interview for this great career role, you will need to have;
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, and CA or CPA qualifications - or progression toward
- Some exposure to MYOB, Xero and Reckon
- Excellent communications skills
