The team

The Partner Development Representative Team (PDR) sits as part of our high performing Australian Partner Sales function. PDR’s are responsible for signing up customers to our hero products which involves on-boarding Accounting and Bookkeeping partners into the Partner program as well as driving the adoption of XeroTax across our new and existing Partner base.

What you’ll do

Looking after a national function and part of a wider global team this role is truly one of our frontline roles at Xero. You will lead a team of Partner Development Representatives nationally and be on the tools yourself, onboarding clients and leading by example.

Day to day duties will include;

  • Help drive performance, culture, and an inspiring environment
    Ensuring the team is organised so that team members have access to advice and support to assist with difficult requests or questions
  • Be the point of escalation when there is an aggrieved partner needing leadership attention
  • Monitor and motivate individual PDR team members
  • Assist Large Accounting & Bookkeeping partners with the set up of Xero for their firm
  • Engage and liaise with Senior Account Managers (SAM) and Territory Managers (TM) regarding the on boarding of these Partners including booking Xero introductory presentations for the SAM and TM
  • Be the go-to person for the team on day to day operational issues
  • Motivate and assist the team to ensure monthly targets are achieved
  • Work closely with the TM and Sales Operations Manager to identify and improve our current processes
  • Update CRM system with all client communications including calls, emails and meetings.
  • Work with the TM to showcase the values expected within Xero

What you’ll bring to the role

You will be keen to further build a career in leadership, strive in a team environment and feel satisfaction from helping others achieve. You will have some leadership experience in an account management or sales environment.

You will be the type of leader who brings high energy and high empathy. You are interested in people and how to get the best out of them. You are able to look at processes and identify the need for improvement then execute all while still providing the highest level of service to our customers.

Experience in Accounting whether it be a qualification or industry experience would be advantageous. The passion to work for a leading software company is a must.
