The Company
Our client is looking for a dynamic, up and coming Assistant Accountant to support the Accounts Receivable and Payable functions. The successful applicant will join a team of 8 to report to the Finance Manager.
Building on their experience of working within a Chartered environment, this individual will have the opportunity to learn from a great leadership team. This is a great position for someone who is looking for their next challenge in a large team.
The Role
This role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional financial service to clients
- Develop and maintain existing and new client relationships
- Prepare compliance documentation to be approved by the Finance Manager
- Assist with preparation of Board meeting documentation
- Support the Finance Team when necessary
Your Profile
The successful applicant will possess:
- At least 12 months with a Chartered environment
- Requires sound administrative and accounts ability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in using Excel, Word and Outlook
- Understanding of accounting standards and tax rulings
