Senior Bookkeeper/Project Accountant – 3 Days a Week

About the role:

Reporting to the Operations Director, this role requires a diligent, detail orientated accountant or senior bookkeeper to assist a busy office:

 Typical duties will include the following:

  • Management of cashflow
  • Manage the end to end function of Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Daily bank reconciliation
  • Preparation of annual forecasts for business units and the group
  • Preparing all reporting requirements as well as other ad hoc projects

Some key attributes/requirements will be:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role within a medium sized business
  • Effective time management & organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage end to end finance function and work independently
  • Previous experience working with Xero is preferred
  • Proficient user of excel, word, outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively within a small team environment
  • Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work with minimum supervision
