This is a site based role, working in Geelong.
**This is a 12-month fixed term position.
About the Role:
Due to an internal promotion, my client is currently seeking an experienced Plant Accountant with experience working and partnering with on-site teams. Working closely with the Plant Managers your specific responsibilities will include:
- Management of the plant product costing process, ensuring that product costs are set correctly and manufacturing overheads are being captured appropriately
- Timely reporting of key financial and operational indicators
- Providing accounting / commercial support to site management teams as required
- Co-ordination and preparation of quarterly forecasts and yearly budget
- Supporting business growth by identifying opportunities for development and productivity improvement
About You:
- CA / CPA qualification
- Experience working in a site-based accounting role, supporting operational leaders
- Strong cost control experience
- Experience using SAP, along with strong Excel skills
- Self-directed with the ability to work autonomously
